Amber Kelleher-Andrews, a renowned matchmaker known for connecting Fortune 500 CEOs, A-list celebrities, and even members of the British royal family, has died at the age of 56.

According to a statement posted on the Kelleher International website, the company she co-founded, Kelleher-Andrews passed away on April 13. Her passing follows a several-year battle with ovarian cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2017.

“We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Amber Kelleher-Andrews—beloved Co-Founder, Co-CEO, matchmaking visionary, and devoted wife and mother,” the statement reads.

“We extend our deepest condolences to her beautiful family, her many friends, the clients whose lives she touched so profoundly, and her mother, Jill Kelleher, the founder of Kelleher International.”

Kelleher-Andrews began her career as a model and television actress before shifting into the world of elite matchmaking. Her skills were prominently featured on NBC’s 2013 reality series “Ready for Love,” produced by Eva Longoria and hosted by Giuliana and Bill Rancic.

Her cousin, Morgan Kelleher, shared a tribute on Facebook, remembering her as a devoted mother and wife.

“Amber always dreamt of being a mother and that became a reality after she married the love of her life, Nico. We all enjoyed watching her as a mother because she was so inclusive with us in celebrating and supporting her kids,” he wrote.

Morgan also shared details regarding his late cousin’s battle with ovarian cancer. “Amber first fought ovarian cancer in 2017 and within 3 months her stage 4 cancer was in full remission,” he said.

“She fought for over 4 months this year, and never complained about the pain but found every opportunity to crack a joke, or make someone laugh.”

Kelleher-Andrews’ final Instagram post, posted on April 3, reflected her philosophy on life and love. “Love is the most powerful force in the universe,“ she wrote. ”It’s not just about romantic love—it’s the connection we share with everyone around us.”

“The bonds we create, the energy we exchange, and the way we lift each other up are what truly makes life extraordinary,” she concluded the post.

Outside of matchmaking, Kelleher-Andrews dedicated time to philanthropy. She served on the board of Virgin Unite, the charitable arm of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. Branson paid tribute, saying, “Amber was a treasure to this world. Her joy, love, and sheer determination to make the world a better place was awe inspiring.”

“We feel so fortunate to have had her as part of the Virgin Unite family for over a decade,” he said.

A celebration of life will be held in Santa Barbara, California, in the coming months. According to family members, her final resting place will be in Hanalei, Hawaii.
